I was watching Blue Planet II yesterday, my jaw hanging down by my knees as I took in the trials and tribulations of coastal creatures.
Beyond the fact that the BBC has created one of the best documentary series of all time, it opened my eyes to a more universal reality.
For almost every documented creature in the series, just getting some tucker down your gullet is a tall order. From some it’s a death sentence.
Compared to these poor critters, us Homo Sapiens are walking on water. So why are so many of us drowning?
The answer comes down to perspective.
You may think you have no agency but by golly you do.
Believing is half the battle.
